Desk is where the written substance of your practice lives. Not a file dump: a workbench with the deliverables you are drafting, the knowledge you operate from, and an inbox for everything you capture before it has a home.

What lives on the Desk

Documents

The deliverables you produce, drafted from engagement context and edited in a real rich-text editor.

Knowledge base

Your operating knowledge: playbooks, procedures, reference articles. The standards your practice runs on, written down where the team that runs them can read them.

Files

Uploaded attachments, linked to the records they belong to rather than orphaned in a folder tree.

Capture inbox

Notes and artifacts land here untriaged, then get processed: filed to an Area, linked to a record, or turned into a task. Same shape as notes.

One spine underneath

Everything on the Desk links through the Areas spine. A document belongs to the client and the domain it concerns. A knowledge article about your close process surfaces when the work is the close. Ask for everything touching one engagement and the Desk’s contribution shows up alongside the emails and the tasks, because it speaks the same labeling language.

Capture from anywhere

The capture inbox accepts input from more than the keyboard. Work product from an external agent session, a note from your phone, a quick capture mid-meeting: they all land in the same inbox and get triaged by the same process. See connect your agent for landing artifacts here from Claude or any MCP client.
